The organization of work in remote control has many advantages, all of which serve a single purpose: flexibility. It can appeal to a large number of employees, but not that… companies will quickly find it to their advantage.
The advantages of remote working for employees

The remote worker organizes his working time as he wishes. He can work in the morning, in the afternoon, at night… The important thing is that the work entrusted by his employer is done.
The remote worker chooses the place from where he works and can thus avoid wasting time in commuting. It can be at home or in a coworking area for example. The only requirement is an internet connection.

The advantages of remote work for companies
For the company, working remotely has significant advantages. It allows :

That the company reduces its office rental costs, but also its office supply costs. With fewer employees on site, premises can be reduced.
The disadvantages of working remotely
While on paper remote working may tempt more than one employee for its flexibility, in practice, one must still bear in mind that it requires discipline. For some, it will be a guarantee of productivity, for others, it will be completely prohibitive or even unbearable. To avoid the failure of remote control, here is a brief overview of its main drawbacks.
Disadvantages for the remote worker
Decreased social interaction. Coffee and lunch breaks at work with colleagues become materially impossible. The risk of social isolation must be kept in mind.
Compulsory self-discipline. Being able to get down to work. There are not necessarily working hours, so the idea is not to bully or procrastinate all day.
Being able to compartmentalize your working life. There are times to work and times to disconnect. The right to disconnect applies even at a distance. Working remotely does not mean being available day and night, and to work at will.
Disadvantages of working remotely for the company
For the company, the main disadvantage of working remotely lies in the creation of a sense of belonging and corporate culture with the remote worker. It is more difficult to create relashionship at distance and to make him/her share the values defined in the company. So he has to find tricks to create a good dynamic: why not an annual company seminar, a team building activity or even days planned during the year when the teams meet physically.
